Dinas Powis Golf Club

Dinas Powis Golf Club near Cardiff is one of the most beautiful and most popular courses in South Wales. The lie of the land has meant that three greens in particular have been subject to flooding and hence rendered unplayable after heavy rain. Inscapes Sports undertook the construction, seeding and movement of irrigation pipes needed to address this issue with new greens which came into play in Spring 2008.

On-site work lasted four weeks and involved overcoming severe access problems in order to ensure that play on the course was still possible during the period of construction. The picture, taken just a few weeks after seeding, show accurate drilling and rapid establishment. Everything is on course for a much enhanced golfing experience for the many hundreds of people who enjoy playing here.
