Inscapes CEO Gareth Rees elected chair of Wales Branch of British Association of Landscape Industries

The Wales branch of the British Association of Landscape Industries has elected our Chief Executive Gareth Rees to be its new Chair. The Association is the UK’s representative trade association for firms undertaking landscaping, and for a wide range of associated suppliers to the industry. With a lifetime’s experience in the land-based sector and 15 years specialising in all aspects of general and sports landscaping, Gareth is well placed to reflect the interests of members in Wales.
“Membership of BALI has been an important part of our business for some time,” he says. “We are committed to high standards at every stage and in every aspect of our operation, values which are at the heart of BALI’s aims. I’m really looking forward to playing my part in representing members in Wales and helping to drive standards even higher and to promoting closer co-operation and the sharing of knowledge and skills between members.”
Inscapes has recently undergone a period of rapid growth, expanding its operations from traditional landscape construction and maintenance work, to undertake installation projects at The Belfry, Celtic Manor, Marriot St Pierre, Nefyn and Renaissance Golf Clubs and at Twickenham and the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. More recently we undertook the full construction of the first fibre elastic rugby pitch in the UK including installation of drainage, irrigation and under soil heating systems.
