There has been a lot of media coverage lately about the problems that young people have in the local valleys and Bettws boys and girls club has been doing its best to promote good will and support to all the valleys young people.
Neil and Beth Ellis have been the force behind some of the projects that run from the club and getting the youngsters involved in gardening in their new poly tunnel, including planting up pots of mixed bedding and bulbs, has been one such project. Inscapes were happy to provide some assistance in this project and the 400 strong group of youngsters from around the village of Bettws soon made use of the pots and border soil that we provided.

Neil is also getting the youngsters to look closer at the environment, including using water harvesting for the new plants. Their great enthusiasm and work has already paid off, with a good batch of sun flowers already well established.
