A wide range of our literature is now available to download as pdf files. The range includes brochures and project profiles which give a much fuller picture of the scope of our operations - not least because there are lots of pictures! We shall be adding to the list of downloadable files over time.

If you don’t have Acrobat Reader you can download it free from the internet  by following this link:

Our new TIM machines prove their worth at Morlais

Working at Morlais Castle Golf Club recently was the ideal time to test drive our new TIM machines.

The second phase of work included a fairway which bordered the rough area.  Extensive excavation work was undertaken and, even though the conditions were wetter than we would ideally wish for, the Harley rake did a grand job of the preparation work, before the 60,000 metres of fescue turf was laid.

The benefit of this new equipment on an installation job like this is that we can work about 30% faster, meaning that the team can install more turf between breaks in the weather, which in turn allows the golf club to bring the area into play quicker, which of course is a great benefit to all golfers.

These TIM machines use the larger roll size - only 60 rolls per 1,000 metres compared to 90 rolls with our previous machines. This and the fact that they use hydraulics rather than gears, and that their low ground pressure minimizes any track marks makes them a major step forward for turf installation.

The first phase of work at St Pierre Golf Club has been completed. We have re-turfed tees and bunker surrounds as part of a major upgrading of this beautiful course near Chepstow. Our customer is delighted with the work and has plans for us to do more.
